ABSTRACT:
A 5 page paper that presents a case study of New Horizon Optics, a fictitious U.S. optic transistor manufacturing company that is experiencing domestic market problems due to the dumping of Japanese transistors into the U.S. market. Discussed are the problems this dumping creates and a possible solution to this problem. Also included is a brief outline of the histories of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, or GAFF, the Uruguay Round agreement, and the World Trade Organization, or WTO, as well as the basic goals of each. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
